I got married!
Saturday, August 12, just before noon. The short and lovely ceremony was done before the cannon fired.
I am a "wife" and have a "husband." I have new lingo to enjoy!
I'll post a big long detail-filled monster of a post later, but for now, here's some bullets:
Everything went swimmingly.
Halifax provided us with everything we needed, including sunshine, good food, and mellowness.
F. and I both looked lovely. Select outfit details: my dress was buttery, he wore an orange tie, we both had excellent shoes.
Our families gelled, to a point that was not only heartwarming but also kind of odd.
Cape Split was amazing.
The wedding weekend was wonderful.
I like alliteration.
More details, especially on that last bullet, will follow soon. And when I get some digital pictures from other people's digital cameras, so too will photos. For now, I'm going to bed, where my "husband" is reading a book. Aren't we the old married couple? And so quickly
