(no subject)
so today hasn't been all too much fun. Woke up, didn't really want to go to class, but that turned out not to be so bad. after astronomy, I had to go to the bookstore. which meant I had to cross the street. there was a biker who crossed at the same time I did. and a bus that decided to turn. the biker was long gone when the bus came around the corner, but I most certainly was not. It was literally inches away from hitting me. if I hadn't started to run, it would have hit me. and it was not going all that slowly either. everyone on the sidewalk started freaking out. "oh my gosh! that bus was so close to hitting you! are you ok???" things of that nature. not all too much fun. get my stuff at the bookstore, go back to dorms, and work on my writing paper some more. had to turn it in today, and I still had quite a bit to do on it, but I finished. walking to writing class, it starts off just sprinkling basically, which was fine. by the time I got halfway to class, it was a big huge downpour. I got soaked! and I was wearing jeans. and wet jeans + windy= Kelly late for class. strike 2.. if I'm late again, mark my grade down 1 letter. sitting through class soaking wet was no fun. then I have to go to english right after. class was extremely long and I really just wanted to go back to the dorms and change. but before that could happen, I had to sit through english and get my english paper back. I thought that I had done a pretty good job on the paper. apparently I thought entirely wrong. B-. I haven't gotten a B- on a paper in quite some time, so pretty much, it feels like failure to me. not good times. came back to the dorms and changed, so I felt a little better. then I got some yummy pizza and felt a little more better, then I had to go to math. not so bad, but I just wanted to sleep. so yeah. the combination of almost getting hit by a bus, getting soaked on my way to class, and then getting a B- on a paper has not made my day happy. maybe a nap will help things. maybe my day can end well. there's always hope. especially since brent is coming over and we're gonna watch last week's Lost. :) that should be fun. NAP TIME!
