This weekend I saw the X-files movie. Not something I would choose myself, but it was my friend Christian's birthday so he got to pick the movie and my friend Louisa paid for all of us, so yeah, watching a movie for free with two awesome people--not a bad deal. Well, it's been almost a week and our little tortoises remain nameless. There have been a few ideas, but nothing has really jumped out at me, yet. So I turn to the internet in hopes that someone will throw out a good idea that suits these little guys, or that one of the ideas that I've listed will start to sound just right. My darling special_kc went on a little vacation to Texas with her mom and sisters (oops, I just said "little" and "Texas" in the same sentence! Is that illegal?) and she took a few turtle pictures (for me!) when they went to the aquarium (and one picture is from their hotel, because they were lucky enough to have turtles there, too!). thursday morning i got up to go to the bathroom and found another baby snake, curled up on a towel on the floor. this is the third time i've found one just like this down in my basement. luckily this time andrew was over and he got to enjoy the cuteness with me for a few minutes before i brought the little guy outside. i hope he didn't get eaten ( Read more... )
