I find it amazing that we can get the remnants of Hurricane Ike in St. Louis....but we are. It's very windy and rainy here, but it's not thunder storming. Usually if we get this kind of rain/wind there's lots of thunder and lightening to go with it. Damn the humidity.
I literally have had wet hair on the back of my neck since I stepped outside today.
And, it's 10:45pm and it's 84 humid degrees outside. O M G!!

It's storming and I'm scurred. The hail hitting my window is what made me get up out of bed. I have nightmares from 2001. Anyway, I don't see any tornado warnings on the news so that's good. Maybe I can just ignore the wind, rain, thunder and lightening and go back to bed.

The roads still sucked this morning by me but at a certain point on the highway (just like last night on the way home) it got clearer. Today it reached 50 so a lot of the stuff on the roads (and my driveway, yay) has melted. There's still quite a bit in my yard, though. LOL ( Read more... )

Well....you know it's bad when I have to get my shovel out. I had to shovel a small path for Gizmo to get out.....12" of snow. Oh my God!!! Where I work we maybe got 3". I called my mom on the way home and she's like we got a foot. I'm like no freakin way!!! How is it that 25 miles away there's hardly anything? *weeps ( Read more... )

Yesterday it was 77, tomorrow 6-10" of snow. Nice.

I also think I'm getting sick. I can feel a tightness in my chest and I'm coughing a little. Not good.

I'm watching today's GH, I'm very excited. LOL
