Quote of the eve

Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination.

Apropos, I'd say, of my current situation. Ironically, I just walked home (missed the streetcar by mere seconds) singing Like a Rolling Stone for nearly the entire 2 3/4 miles (that's about 4400 meters, to weishaupt and agno3singer !! *feels like smartass tonight*) and laughing my ass off at the cheesy truth of it all.
Also I "saw" some ghosts. There is this funky, old, run down, Spanish-style guest house on the way to this apartment, that has some nifty, decidedly spectral entities of the sort that love to stay just at the corner of your eye, but do not let you glance straight at them. I got the impression they think doing that is funny. So I giggled, and was reminded of a rhyme that was taught to me in speech therapy * back when I was like six or seven: He beats.. His fists.. Against.. The posts.... And still.. Insists.. He sees.. The ghosts. I thought to myself, Uh-huh. So with enunciation exercises like that, they still wondered how I turned out the witchie-poo freak that I am. ~_^
This is my brain on tired.

* I had rather a serious stammer back then. It still pops up sometimes, if I am overtired or very frustrated or angry... or if I am around someone who also has a speech impediment. It also used to happen whenever I got really stoned.

quote, witchie-poo, random, funny
