Six Flags New England didn't seem like nearly as large a park this time as it did two years ago. It was much less crowded -- the ride lines weren't nearly as long -- and we weren't madly trying to ride all the roller coasters, so it seemed like relatively calm visit with plenty of time to do everything we wanted to do. No combat practice for me tonight after all. Fairy headbands, baking, errands, running in circles, and maybe some paperwork, instead. I really must make it to combat practice next week.

I voted. As I was walking up to get into line, one of the cops at the polling station was chasing after a fellow who'd just left -- to tell him that the optical scanner had spat out his ballot, and would he please come back and fill out a replacement. Legends last weekend, Madrigal this weekend, mad preparations for both, failing to find the theoretical rehearsal for one play, fussing over costumes for the other play ... no wonder I'm not getting anything else done. Sounds like my final exam (or next exam, anyway) is on for this event (though of course lots of things could happen to prevent that). I have no idea what it's going to be and I think the odds are against my character walking out of it sane.
