At about 1:53 pm, while my wife and I were watching television, Felecia looked around the room and said "Is something moving?"
I stopped and rested my hands on the wooden edges of the chair and felt something I haven't felt since I lived in California: an earth tremor shaking the house. "Yeah," I said, blinking. "The house just trembled. That's an earth tremor--!"
She frowned, but I was fairly sure of what we felt, so we went and checked the news and DAMN but if there wasn't an earthquake in Virginia, which we apparently felt as the outbound shockwave passed through western Pennsylvania.
Well, damnation.
