Trouser update

Did the 'What Diet are You?' thing on the Calorie Count site I use occasionally, and apparently I am an:

Effective Burner

You are not active enough. You seem to have a sedentary job or lifestyle in general, and this prevents you from achieving the intake-expenditure calorie balance required to lose weight. But do not despair: This is one of the easiest dieting challenges to deal with -- just spend some more time outdoors, or simply break a sweat with whatever you enjoy doing!

Your Eating Habits
From what we know, your eating habits are not the primary source of your weight problems. Nevertheless, we still want to remind you that it is always a good idea to count calories and log foods. Not only will it provide a clear picture about the foods you eat, it reminds you of your dieting goals and helps keep you on track.

The Solution
We suggest that you get involved in a community activity or a team sport. Why? This is a good way to burn extra calories and receive the motivation and support that you need. Remember, in addition to losing weight and forming good habits, this approach is an excellent way to improve your health and make you feel great!

So hopefully getting the new bike and cycling further will make me slimmer, fitter and healthier! I don't anticipate it'll make my journey times any shorter, but it will cut out waitng around unexpectedly for late buses! And it means I can leave whenever I want rather than every 15mins, 5mins before the bus is due! Did have a very 'fat' day yesterday: had 2 lunches thanks to a handover meeting, and then more than my allowance (100g) of sweet things (25g chocolate, about 50g brownie and flapjack bites and about 50g chocolate covered icecream). Oops, and I'm going out for a meal tonight! It's Kar's leaving do at Las Iguanas so I'm hanging around until about 5:15 as I'm going straight from work.

Lee came back from holiday today and it's good to have all the team back. We've been at a sort of loss without her!
