Big Paycheck!
So I did some calculations, and if I work the hours I have been at McArdles and work from the time the ywant me in until close at the Roadhouse, I will have worked, from this past Sunday to next Sunday night, between 50 and 55 hours. That comes out to about $350 for the week, plus tips from McArdles...New Car here I come!!!! I really really hope I can get one this summer! If I save every cent of every paycheck and tip money, I'll have enough to buy an old car, OK, so I'm talking at '95 or '96, in about 6 or 7 weeks. Which is good because then I can get it registered and get plates for it.
So tonight work was pretty weird. We were dead until 7:30, which was when we cut one of the waitresses, and then slowly people started coming in. Then all of a sudden I was running around doing a million different things and had to deal with so much stuff...It made the time fly, but it got to a point where when I saw someone walk in, I seriously wanted to punch them in the face. That's the one good ting I can see about my job at the Roadhouse, I won't have to deal with customers. Maybe I will like it....I'm definetly going to give it a try, I guess I'm just really nervous. I just wish I knew exactly waht I wanted...I mean I want the waitress money, but i don't want to deal with customers!
Well, I am seriously falling asleep and I really need to get to bed. I can't decide...fall asleep to a movie, music, or just put my head in the pillow and pass out? My eyes are closing right now, so I'm guessing just fall asleep without any other distractions. I know this week I'm going to be sleeping everynight as soon as I get home, so if you need to talk to me, call my house and leave a message so I know to call you back or go online. Maybe I'll have a nervous breakdown and my Dad will think to himself "HMMM, maybe she needs time to relax". We'll see.
OK, I just put my laundry in the dryer and am now going to bed!! Goodnight all!!
