So I finally wrangled my way onto a league team for the fall. We have a doubleheader on Sat. to start the season, so I am quite excited!
Meanwhile, some random articles, a bit heavier than usual:

David Sirlin on rebalancing Super Puzzle Fighter II HD Turbo Remix. What an awesome name for a video game. I'll also note that XBLA is getting Rez, Every Extend, and Ikaruga! Unfortunately, making time to play video games is tough, between work, reading, programming, disc, and miscellaneous social activities. The latter tend to take higher priority, and there's just not enough time to squeeze video games in. Perhaps when Halo 3 comes out? Sigh.
Refactoring in Smalltalk. Makes me want to learn Smalltalk. I bought the Programming Erlang book though, and I feel like I have a decent grasp of the basics, but don't really have any applications that I want to use Erlang to program. I think I may dip back into Obj-C to use CoreImage to implement the seam carving algorithm in the near future, but I dunno.
How Clearview came to be. (Clearview is the font that will be replacing Highway Gothic on road signs.)
On how the "liberal" media handled Gore in the last election. Really a shame, but he did a remarkable job bouncing back. It's kind of ridiculous how he still gets flak for the "inventing the internet" thing.
