Ahh... a lazy, lazy day! It feels so lovely! I decided I wasn't going to worry about my thesis until after Xmas. I just needed a few days to officially decompress. I'm not leaving the apartment today, I decided.
I did some drawing this morning. I'm currently watching Duckie play Castlevania: Lords of Shadow while trying to finish my NaNo. I'm SO close! I just want to hit 50,000 words so I can officially have finished, then I need to go back and edit it to death. Actually my 2nd Lucy Fic could also use an overhaul... its ending feels kinda unfulfilling. The only one I don't have any desire to touch is the first one in the series, 'Kanojo to Watashi'. So while this and #2 ('Ii Onna') are good as whole pieces, #3 (my NaNo) will have to be chopped down into chapters or installments, I think. /thinkingoutloud
Toying with the idea of getting a paid account on here. We're so strapped for cash, but I really want more than 15 userpics and I certainly am on here quite a bit. When I used to use LJ in high school I don't think there even was a paid account option. Now I'm sure I'm dating myself.
Tomorrow Duckie and I are off to Albany to see his family for Xmas. We spend the night there. There's always tons of delicious and fattening food and TONS of wine. Gotta love it! Plus, I get to see my brother-in-law again! HOORAY! He's having a great recovery from the surgery. I don't know what's next for his treatment, but his prognosis is very good.
Time for some dinner, then back to writing!
