If surgical steel is hypoallergenic, how come my ears still get infected (50% of the time) when I wear steel-hooked earrings and 25% of the time when I wear sterling silver? No idea on gold because I don't like the yellow color and find it silly to pay for white gold when sterling silver looks the same and costs less.

FF2 was stable for exactly one day; and then today I had the same problem. This leads me to believe that the problem isn't with Firefox, although it started shortly after I installed FF3. Running Vista Home Basic in Safe Mode right now. Otherwise Windows shuts down automatically with some weird error message. We don't have any important files on at the moment, so if worst comes to worst we'll just do a fresh install; but I'd like to figure things out before then.

Sorry about the dearth of booklog posts; for various reasons, I haven't been getting much read. Frankenstein must be finished by Thursday, though, and I have a lot of half-finished stuff.
