Today is Summer Surge 2007. First annual, lol. Hopefully we get alot of kids. I'm expecting a big turnout. We got a rather large turnout for last years kids back to school fest and we've been handing out flyers like mad. There's gonna be basketball and volleyball tournaments and hotdogs and popcorn and big jugs of gatorade or some such. Imitators will be there. Yay. I thought I knew what I was doing over there, but now I have no clue. Exciting. Not really. Dad's thrown so many ideas of where he wants me. ~_~ I woke up excited about make-up things and now it flew away. Drat.
I got a commission for my fellow civil war reenactor at my church. She wants me to take out the hem in this handmade skirt that a lady gave her. She has no aptitude for sewing, lol, and the lady makes all kinds of stuff, so Jen was doomed from the start. XD She said she'll pay me if I can do it. I told her I'd look at it for her and let her know if it's in my ability.
Wow. I still have to make that shirt. It's just at the scary stage of sewing it all together. I finally cut out the pattern, lol.
