quick update
october is almost over and i feel like i havent really accomplished much in school. i mean, i'm doing the best i can with my school work and on exams, etc.. but i know i could do a lot better if i had the time to study.
sidenote: i don't know why i didnt think of this sooner but i figured out the perfect excuse to get my birthday weekend off from the bank. finals! they won't think i'm lying because i've had finals on a saturday in the past :D lets just hope that i really don't have a final on dec 13th in real life.
im excited for this weekend because i have something to look forward to. al's bday. friday will be nice to just go out for a bit after work for a couple hours and saturday should be fun cause we'll be drinking.. heavily. but sunday, i have to get down to business. midterm on monday and wednesday and paper due wednesday aaaand exam friday the 24th. lame.
yesterday was the one year anniversary since my grampy passed away. i was sad, but to be honest, i really didn't have much time to dwell on it because i was at work from 8am-9pm. i suppose that's better because who wants to be sad? the first year was really tough, as everyone always says, but i feel like it really won't get better for another couple years. the holidays will always be hard because he won't be sitting directly across from me at the dining room table anymore. i will say this though; i'm glad he's not around for the patriots this year.. although i'm sure he's rolling over in his grave right now at how terrible they are this season.
on that note, time for class! slavery and abolition
