eh, happy b-day to me I guess...
Yeah, it's my b-day, but it just feels like another day to me. My stepdad had his mom and sister which kinda made me nervous (hell, he by himself makes me nervous). They're alright people, but I hardly ever see them and I usually have anxiety in dealing with relatives. It was alright though, my stepdad baked a 3 layer carrot cake with walnuts in it (I don't like walnuts but I didn't say anything and ate it anyway). His mother gave me a card, so did my dad and my stepmom through the mail filled with confetti made to fall out when you open it (something Diane, my stepmom, is notorious for ^_^), but I was ready for it this time, opened it carefully and let all of it into my hand. My Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Dan sent me a card with $20 in it (yes, I have an aunt and uncle named JoAnn and Dan, coincidence? *eerie music playing*, oddly enough I never thought about that until now). Well, that basically pretty much sums up my day. Still looking forward to Otakon, see you all then.
