Blitzen Goes to the Vet (Part 2)
It's been over 9 days since Bunny-butt's surgeries and he had his stitches out this morning. All is well and he's himself again!
The lumps turned out to be encapsulated abscesses rather than tumors, so it wasn't cancerous!
Also, the vet office told me that everyone was in the back room petting him because they'd never seen a bunny as soft as him. One lady said he was just as soft or softer than the chinchillas that they had come in. Apparently they also have a person who's allergic to bunnies, but they even had to pet him just to see for themselves. They also said that he was the best bunny they've ever seen as he just sat there and let them take the stitches out, while other bunnies would struggle and hop around. (He puts up more of a fuss around me, but I'm family! Luckily Toby was there to help me give him his medicine twice a day. Blitzen is so cute, too. He'd get grumpy at me for trying to give him medicine and he'd make a grumbly noise and throw his toy keys at us. Once he even grabbed his heavy ceramic food bowl and swung it at us - I was so surprised he could lift it!)
Yup, I have the best bunny ever. And now I have more back up for when I tell people that Blitzen is the softest bunny they'll ever pet. :D
