Title: Glitching Up the Evil-dar
Characters: Dean, Sam
Rating: G
Author's Notes: Written for supernatural100 challenge #265: No harm, no foul.
Length: 100 words, and I sweated blood to get this one down to drabble-length.
Disclaimer: The boys belong to the CW.
Summary: "This guy's gotta be evil, right?"

A man rushed out of the McMansion carrying a limp black cat under one arm and a head-sized object wrapped in rust-stained newspaper under the other. Dean rested a hand on his Colt and angled the silent EMF detector as the guy roared by in a fancy black SUV.

Hours later they’d tossed the house, all twenty rooms. Nothing.

“No bodies, no hex bags, no sulfur, and I even checked the medicine cabinet in case he’s -” Dean swirled a finger near his temple.

Sam shrugged. “I don’t know, man. Maybe he’s just … normal?”

Dean made a face. “Freakin’ suburbs.”
