So.
The apartment has turned out to be the apartment from hell. It's disgustingly dirty and horribly under-maintained. Also, I appear to be suffering from some severe allergies to the moldy carpet (I spent all of Sunday unconscious in the ER, getting Demerol and liquids through an IV.) So, we've applied for a very nice new place. It's farther from school, but who cares? It's an actual apartment. Now we're tangled in the mess of breaking lease with the current landlords, waiting to hear from the new landlords on whether we got the place or not, waiting for our cell phones to arrive by mail, waiting to get our furniture down here, waiting and waiting. I'm just hoping everything works out.
