Challenge 8 - Music has Charms
I'm taking the 'listen to radio' option because that sounded the funniest (and also for another reason I will explain more below). Apparently the station I listen to mostly plays oldies, but I don't mind because I like a lot of them. I went quite overboard with this, so brace yourself.

Collage of fandom things that I thought about when listening to these songs. I'll explain them in more detail below. The lyrics that most inspired me to pick that specific picture are on the image, view in full size to read them.
Explanation for what those songs mean to me (far more than 100 words, lol).
1. Viva La Vida - This is a song I quite like and it's spot on Eliot Waugh, especially right after he got expelled from Fillory.
2. Black Velvet - The song is about Elvis, so obviously, I chose a picture from the Elvis episode of Legends of Tomorrow. This screencap depicts Sara catching Elvis' guitar after realizing it's being haunted by his brother Jesse's ghost, one of my favorite scenes of the episode - "Elvis' guitar is haunted!" "We know!"
3. Runaway Train - I didn't know the video for this song or that it is about missing teenagers, I would possibly have chosen a different picture if I had known, but just listening to the words made me think of Sara, specifically her in Daddy Darhkest, reliving all her trauma and spiraling down. I do think it would still fit her, seeing as she was missing, presumed dead, for years as a young woman.
4. The Things We Lost In The Fire - This is basically Mick Rory's theme song. It's amazing how well it fits. I tried to parallel a picture of him as a boy with one of him as an adult but I don't know how well it turned out. But yeah, this is him, no question.
5. My Monsters Are Real - So, this is the other reason I wanted to choose the radio option. I do not own much (hardly any, really) music, so generally with these things, I go with a list of dance_the_dance's music that tends to be my style too, but this time, I really wanted to include this song and it had been playing on the radio a lot, so I hoped it would play while I was gathering my 10 songs. And what do you know, it did! I didn't even cheat, lol. Not gonna lie, I squeed out loud when it came up.
Again, I didn't know the video and don't know what the song is actually about. The reason I love it so much, is because it's amazing how much it fits Sara and Nora, specifically during Necromancing the Stone. I probably will eventually make a video for it, because it's just so so good, but for now, have a picture and a bonus tumblr graphic because I just had to, lol.
6. What You Do For Love - I wanted to use a different scene here, when Mona and Wolfie confront Jane Austen, but there is no cap for it and this one works too. This song is basically Mona's story, what she did for Konane, how she became Wolfie, how none of it makes sense to her anymore.
7. Message In A Bottle - This one is more of a dubious connection, but all I could think of was Zari sending out a message to the rest of the Legends over radio. Still, I think it fits.
8. Man On The Moon - I mean, Ray is a man and he is on the moon, so, there you go. LOL
9. Have You Ever Seen The Rain - This reminded me immediately of Aeryn seeing rain for the first time. Doesn't have all that much to do with the song after all, but yeah.
10. Dreams - This is Mona and Wolfie to me. The way Mona tried to ignore that part of herself at first and was at war with it and then started to understand Wolfie better and even take comfort in her company.
