Dragon Drabbles
Drabble #1: The Worried Dragon
Fandom: Ogham-Duir (original verse)
Characters: Aura (dragon/human shifter), Puff (Myrdren ap Terra, Earth Elemental Dragon)
Puff nudged the bowl of macaroni and cheese away from him. Even though it was his favorite food, he wasn't hungry. He was sad.
Aura could tell the little earth dragon was upset when the came back from the dragon sanctuary.
Myra, Puff's mate, had a setback. Her illness had been improving until a few days ago.
"Puff, Myra be fine. Babycats will adjust her medication. She'll be up and around again in no time." Aura pushed the bowl back in front of him. "Eat you dinner, Myrdren."
Puff ate his dinner then went to his bed by the hearth.

Drabble #2: Not a Horse
Fandom: Merlin
Characters: Merlin, Kilgharrah
The Great Dragon scanned the field below looking for Merlin. He had been summoned from his new home. He spotted the young warlock pacing back and forth next to a clump of trees. He landed gracefully.
"Finally! I called you hours ago." Merlin turned to face the old dragon. "I need your help."
Kilgharrah rolled his eyes. "When do you not need my help, young warlock?"
"I need you to take me to the Isle of the Blessed."
"Get on." Kilgharrah leaned down. "But I'm not your horse."
Merlin sighed and climbed on. "Just take me there and stop complaining."

Drabble #3: Tastes Like Human

Characters: Kilgharrah
Kilgharrah flew over the fields. He was looking for his dinner. Every night he flew over these same fields. There was not much to sustain him. He would have to go farther.
Soon there would be no more food. Kilgharrah had two choices bgo beyond the call of his Dragon Lord or start eating humans.
Contrary to what Merlin said, humans do not taste like chicken. Merlin had no idea what humans taste like. It had been so long since he ate a human that he couldn't remember. He did know it wasn't chicken. Hed have to remind himself soon.

Aura walked out on the balcony of the Crystal Palace. She always felt constricted when they had to be in Zestra. She had been feeling the need to shift for days. She had been ignoring it but now she couldn't any longer. Her skin was crawling as her scales threatened to erupt on their own.
Aura looked around to make sure there was no one around. She dropped her robe and took a deep breath. She shifted into a red gold dragon. She rose into the air and headed towards the dragon sanctuary.
She felt calm and free once more.
