Applications Update
The updated application forms for both fandom and original characters have been posted.
A few things about them:
FIRST, we will continue accepting applications written on the old forms until the application deadline on the 11th of November. That means that if you're submitting your app this week (today) or for next week, you don't need to worry. If you're submitting for the week after (the 18th), then please use the new forms.
SECOND, there looks like there's a whole lost more stuff there, but most of the changes are superficial. We aren't raising or lowering the bar at all. We've just made clear what we're looking for, rather than having you guess. This will also allow us to be more consistent with the standards that we were already aiming for.
THIRD, the biggest change is to the OC form. We have nixed the first person sample. A lot of people didn't like it. A lot of people were confused over what we were asking for. So we're trialling a new Q&A style sample on the OC form first. If it seems to be working well for everyone there, we'll try and adapt it for the fandom application.
