Ten minutes. He was supposed to meet her in ten minutes. It took him ten minutes to find that blasted orchard. It was a pretty place and normally, Nick would've taken time to admire it. He'd only seen places like it in pictures. But not now. He was a nervous wreck. Meeting Anna had been something he wanted to avoid back home. Maybe he couldn't avoid it forever. But damnit, he wanted to try.
He waited for her, sitting under the shade of a tree. This was nice. He could only hope it stayed that way.
