As accustomed to Tus was at ensuring that the bloody person before them truly was a zombie, and not merely someone injured or another person out patrolling - admittedly, there had been far greater of the last two than the first - there was little doubt that the creature that Tus saw up ahead was anything but one who had killed, and did not care enough to notice how much gore coated him.

"Dastan," he murmured, a quiet warning. "I do not believe this to be another 'false alarm'."

Lips quirking up somewhat in sheepish apology to that statement, Dastan follows Tus's gaze and slowly draws in a deep breath of air.

"Nope. Not a false alarm at all, dear brother. Want me to create a diversion, or sneak up from behind?"

Dastan's words are also a slow, quiet murmur of intent. He's edging along the wall, trying his best to stay out of sight now that the monster had been spotted.

Tumnus' ears flick slightly and he pauses in his nonsensical trek across the grounds.

The zombie thought it had heard voices, but his now alert and searching ears cannot pick up any specific voice.

With a low snarl he continues on his path; a path that just so happens to bring him ever closer to the Persian brothers.

Tus marked the creature's path carefully. It did not seem to have pinpointed their location, but it was nevertheless heading straight towards them. That could work to their advantage.

"Whichever you prefer, brother," Tus replied, his words light, for all that his grip on his sword was firm and his stance entirely professional. "This time, I will follow your lead."

Giving Dastan time to shine would please his brother, Tus knew, and Dastan certainly needed it after their encounter with Malkus.
