Tumnus is tired, but there is a certain level of satisfaction to it in that his tiredness has been brought on by the brutal slaughtering of
Bobby and Chloe. Blood, some dried and some still very fresh, covers his face and coated his bare

"Dastan," he murmured, a quiet warning. "I do not believe this to be another 'false alarm'."
Reply
"Nope. Not a false alarm at all, dear brother. Want me to create a diversion, or sneak up from behind?"
Dastan's words are also a slow, quiet murmur of intent. He's edging along the wall, trying his best to stay out of sight now that the monster had been spotted.

The zombie thought it had heard voices, but his now alert and searching ears cannot pick up any specific voice.
With a low snarl he continues on his path; a path that just so happens to bring him ever closer to the Persian brothers.

"Whichever you prefer, brother," Tus replied, his words light, for all that his grip on his sword was firm and his stance entirely professional. "This time, I will follow your lead."
Giving Dastan time to shine would please his brother, Tus knew, and Dastan certainly needed it after their encounter with Malkus.

"Fair enough."
With that, Dastan races a few steps down the hall, grabbing the torch on the left side and dowsing it with the multitude of fabric wrapped around his waist. In seconds he runs to the other torch, throwing the first to the ground, before dowsing that one as well. He races up along the side of the wall, crossing in what was probably plain sight, then jumps of the opposite wall in an attempt to leap over Tumnus' head--if Tumnus didn't see him and respond, that is.
Dastan's plan was to turn the infected's attention back his way, leaving Tus on the darkened side of the hall where he was better able to make a sneak attack. It seemed to work well enough the first time--even if it hadn't exactly been Dastan's intention, then.

He ignores the other man entirely, leaving Tus to his own devices as he falls into the darkenss.
As much as you might wish for the faun to ignore or otherwise miss your moves, Dastan? Not gonna happen. The faun's senses are already astute, but with the virus alive and raging through him, they are honed in for killing.
As Dastan moves to leap over the faun's head, he swings .. with both the broken umbrella and the severed arm. If Dastan is lucky the faun might miss, but even if he does, he's already turning to intercept when the young prince will land.

At least until the creature lifted his two makeshift weapons, eyes still on Dastan. And then Tus was darting forward before he'd even thought the move through, reacting instinctively to his brother being in danger. His sword was still in his hand, but he wasn't charging with it, instead shifting his focus to the dagger in his other hand. His aim was first to knock the faun off balance, preventing him from hitting Dastan, and though he was striking with the dagger, getting it to connect was secondary.

His movements are quick, but not as quick as if he'd not just attacked Dastan. The dagger, dulled as it may be, scores the side of the faun's ribs and draws blood.
The pain does not slow Tumnus, but he snarls in response nad moves to swing again, mindless of just how much blood he's losing. He also leaves himself entirely open to Dastan should he take advantage of his dropped guard.]
[OOC: I'll go ahead and go and we'll do whatever we need to do from there, lol! I'll include the glancing blow of Dastan for posterities sake and if we need to change anything, we'll change it.]

With a short hiss, Dastan quickly feels for blood, but when his fingers come away they are clean. Within seconds he's back in the fight, eyes watching for the faun's next move and both swords drawn protectively before him. Seeing the tail end of Tus's attack, Dastan rushes forward as Tumnus's back is turned and angles it perfectly as he braces to attempt to run the infected through so he won't hit his brother.

When Tumnus swung the umbrella at him, Tus shifted to block it with his dagger, but he did not move to avoid the hit. Dastan was moving towards Tumnus, and Tus could read his intent perfectly. He would do his best to keep the faun's focus on himself.
