Scott will be near the front door, intercepting people who come in, asking what they're here for, and directing them to the proper person if necessary.

Logan is close by, expression is default. "You sure now's a good time for this, Summers?"

Ooh. Summers. Not even "Boy scout". He mad.

"What would be a better time? I've been putting this off for long enough, and I'd like to get it over with before something else happens."

Not to mention it's a good way of keeping Logan occupied and not killing people.

Yeah. He mad.

"Do you know who's supposed to be coming?"

He'd like an idea of who to keep an eye on.

Yeah Logan's here. But he's not happy about it. His mood hasn't changed much. Shal's name wasn't on the punishment post, which meant it really was an accident. Or Shal was a damn good liar. Whatever. He wasn't going to think about that kid while he was here. At least he was going to try not to.

Yeah. Better approach with caution.

Hoping to have a Shal-free day, Logan? Whoops, too bad. He's certainly not going to go out of his way to talk to you, but he will offer you a small wave as he enters. Why hello there, guy who is rightfully suspicious of me! How's your day been?

Nope, it's not like Shal is pushing his luck or anything.

Logan was just beginning to relax. A little. Maybe. Okay no not really. Shal's presence doesn't make it any better. He smells the guy long before he sees him and the wave is met with a dismissive turn of his head.

Scott's here and will laserpunch him if he picks a fight. So. Just gonna. Stand here.

What is Ezra even doing here? He's not even completely sure that these people can do anything for him. But if they can, that would be great, so... oh, to hell with it. He's obviously uneasy as he slinks into the room, keeping to the walls and generally watching from the sidelines.

Ezra, hiding out is not the point of this shindig. Scott is making a point of talking to everyone who shows up, so here he is.

"Hello there."

Dammit, Scott, he was trying to go unnoticed. So much for that.

Ezra gives the man a good look over, expression sullen and posture defensive. But he recognizes the voice as the one who invited everyone here in the first place, so he lets himself loosen up the tiniest bit.

"...Hi."

Hey, he may have no peripheral vision and poor color reception thanks to his visor, but he makes up for them by being attentive.

"I'm Scott Summers. I organized this event. Are you here for tutoring, or just to watch, or get to know people?"

Scott keeps his demeanor friendly. This is a safe place for everyone, no matter what they're here for. Unless, of course, their purpose is to threaten the safety of others. Then they get an laserpunch in the face. But that's not relevant to their conversation, right?

A wiry built hard faced looking blonde approaches the chapel.

This business with 'mutants' makes her curious. She wants to know who else identifies with the title, and what this guy on the journal was talking about. She's still cautious though.

She'll make a nonchalant pass of the door, trying to scope a little of the place out. Trust issues? Why yes.

If nothing jumps out and startles her, she'll take a peek inside.

Unless she can see through stone and heavy wood, there's not going to be much to look at. Scott knows there's at least one dangerous person to the mutant (or rather, misfit, but they're the same thing as far as Scott can tell) population, so they're in a location where it's relatively easy to keep an eye on things and who's coming and going.

Speaking of keeping an eye on the door, Scott makes his way over to see who's there. "Hello."

Now THAT would be a useful skill.

She sees someone making a bee-line for the door, where she's stuck her head in and straightens up. She looks up at the much taller boy, noting the red glasses, and that he's likely not quite done growing. He's just a kid.

"This is where the ... mutant school, is taking place. Right?" She speaks in Ciordani. She had brought her journal with her in case she met more people with the lack of a language she knows. It was irritating, and she absolutely loathed having to rely on it.

Really. Too bad only certain over-powered people in comics have that power.

Well, 33 isn't old, but it's not young either, unless Tsia comes from a place where aging works differently.

At least the language makes her easily identifiable. "Sorry, I don't speak your language." His journal happens to be small enough to fit in the pocket of his cardigan, so he pulls it out. It has a translation thing, right? They just have to figure out how to make it work... Most of the people Scott's met spoke English, so , figuring she might have a better idea what to do, he offers it to her.

Sollux is not missing this. He doesn't think they'll be able to help him (or that he needs any help aside from getting his powers back up to their previous level), but he wants to see how humans do this 'school' thing. Also it should be hillariously stupid.
So he's around, watching, and keeping (mostly) quiet at first.

Keeping quiet won't help him hide from Toph.

She ignores Scott when she enters the room and heads instead for Sollux, aiming a punch at his arm by way of greeting.

"Hey, you ready to get your butt whooped some more?"

Sollux doesn't bother to block or avoid the punch, but doesn't really react to it. He smirks. "Not at all, because that doesn't have even a tiny chance of happening."

Toph smirks her approval. So he might not know how to fight, but he's no jelly-boned wimp.

"Yeah? You mean like last time?"
