(no subject)
So on Wednesday or something, I applied for this summer job. Monday I get a mail to call boss person to set up interview, today I was at interview, tomorrow I start.
*head spins* I haven't actually processed this yet, I think.
Not full time? I don't think? Sick leave back up until summer, I think. But it sounded like there might be work for me, the boss person said she'd never worked a week when no one was off sick. This is restaurant kitchen work, so I'm guessing there's a low tolerance because it's food. :)
I'll be learning the trade starting at seven tomorrow. I get on the bus at ten to six, haaa.
It seems like a really cool place, staff wise. Calm, efficient people. Boss person who is all for breaks and breathers, because she seems to really think it makes people function better. She basically told me she went with gut feeling and decided she wanted to hire me during the interview, cool, cos I really liked her energy right back.
So. Wait. This is one of those situations that would eventually lead to whatsacalled, a pay-check? That's. I don't even know what that is.
I might have a new place lined up, too. Put in another ad on almost-craigslist, got reply, and no, it's not he super dreamiest dream place ever, but it's got a balcony and it's close to the woods, it's just three stories and not seven, and I'm hoping the facade is just dirty and not dampness damaged, and really, like my friend put it, if it's even the slightest bit better, I really just HAVE to take it.
Marijuana neighbour is still smoking up the entire staircase, another neighbour has gone batshit, he keeps giving off these triple screams and then banging the walls. Do not want.
Wouldn't it be cool if this is the week where stuff changes?
Shouldn't be surprised though, right, seeing as the year of the tiger has ended and the year of the rabbit has started. :)
