MTAC was last weekend. Except for a few snafus on the Thursday before, mainly getting last minute stuff in the middle of a horrid downpour and driving through so much standing water that I wish I had a paddle, that everything went relatively well.
My volunteers were wonderful and I felt that they had so much covered and done that they left me with hardly anything to do! They were the absolute best!

Not much else to report about the con that would be any different from what we all experience at a con: lack of sleep, awesome people, swag, panels, etc....so just know that this year was really really good. All the bad shit that could have gone wrong for me didn't.m(For those who did have drama/problems/bad shit - best of wishes to you). Let's hope it'll be this care free for me next year..or even this fall..because now I can officially talk about GMX.
That's right, as if running one con wasn't enough, now we're gonna throw another one in October. This one has a more broad fandom and no, it's not another anime convention. I'd post the promo video we showed at the con, but it doesn't seem to be up anywhere. Yet.
Finally got caught up on sleep this week, then took some time to just enjoy myself, y'know...hot bath, reading, chocolate. Mmmm..heavenly.
For those who haven't heard, no I'm not going to continue with Ren Faire this year, just didn't have the time that I thought I would. Plus, I need to get a second job to pay for some repairs my car needs, as well as a few projects I have in mind. *insert mischevious laughter*
Speaking of which...any friends of mine that are going to Dragon*Con interested in doing a SteamPunk Justice League/Justice Society group?
