Closing a chapter
Ok...time to wrap this up and put an end to it.
I do not delight in the failures and misery of others. No amount of pointing out his faults will comfort me. So please, I do not wish to hear -anything- about him. In return, you will not hear me talk about him, or bring him up.
Also, if you happen to be one of the few who still associate with him, if he begins talking about me, especially negatively, please be a friend and ask him to stop.
From this point forward I will bury my sorrow and deal with it on my own. Please don't tell me to "get over it" or "don't think about it." I don't have a switch I can flip and not feel hurt by these events. I am human and I have feelings.
So..Even though I haven't forgotten the hurt, I will try to remember the good times we did have and hope that is enough to help me finish healing.
