In Which I'm Obsessed with NYC and musicals...

I will start this entry by reiterating how much I truly love the Broadway musical Wicked. You can't understand... it's so good, oh my god. NYC is pretty hoppin' too. But seriously, go see Wicked. You'll thank me afterwards for telling you to do so!

So obviously New York was awesome. The first day Andie, my mom, and I all just sort of walked around, went to museums, and of course freaked out waiting for Wicked, which was very good. The only problem was that I was sitting next to the worst smelling guy of all time. For real, I've never smelt an odor so horrible in my life! This guy must never bathe or something, because he smelled like dirty cigars and terrible b.o. or something of the sort, so much so that I had to breathe into my scarf! But you can't let even the smelliest man in the world get between you and your Wicked awesome experience. Tee hee - puns.

The second day I spent the entire day with Lea and Jill. ASA HALL 35 FOREVER! Yes indeed, we did have a dance partay. We went to Soho and shopped (good news email chainers - I finally bought all your presents!) and then walked around Rockefeller Center and places like that. It was awesome, and when it was finally time to part, they dropped me off near the theater for Les Miserables, which was so good also. And also, the little boy (Gavroche) was so cute and a lot of the boys in it were pretty hot themselves. I think I might read that book, because the music is beautiful, and the story was pretty good too. Wow, I love Broadway...

The third and final day I spent with Ari, Danae, and their sister, flown in recently from Barcelona, Spain! It was fun, and we mostly did tons of walking and shopping. Aww, it made me especially miss Rachael and Luce. I think for spring break Luce might come to the Bahamas with my family and I, though, which will be awesome. Fun stuff...

One point of caution about having Andie as a bedfellow (which will probably never happen to any of you, but if it does, then heed these words): she punches and jabs in her sleep, and it's especially horrible sharing a single bed with her. Remember that! Anyways, since returning the US, not much exciting has happened. Patrick came by yesterday randomly in his new car and ended up watching The Devil Wears Prada with me for a long time. Will randomly called me last night around 1, which was annoying considering we had stupid swim practice this morning. Sarah got her wisdom teeth out, and we all went over to her house two days ago and chilled there.

Nothing else. Anyways, tonight should be fun. Everybody have a good New Years Eve! Pictures of NYC and probably New Years to come...
