I always think of such clever things to write in this journal when I'm delivering newspapers or riding my bike - but then when I sit down in front of the computer my mind goes blank and all that is ever posted is trite nonsense. (Okay, so those clever things I think of are trite nonsense, too, but at least it's interestingly phrased nonsense...)

Well. It's been one hell of a week, to say the very least.

For one, there's something very, very wrong with reading about 'the six seriously injured persons' in the newspaper and knowing that your older brother is one of them.
