That actually does make sense because she is obviously living and working in the US. Brits who live in the US start using the local terms in the interest of simply being understood. Americans who live in the UK do the same thing.
I suppose that is a fair point. Maybe. But it's not a matter of simple terminology, but an actual division of labour. *shrugs* Either way. I'm kinda happy to get to whine about this, because it makes me feel all nerdy, and anthropologists don't get that much exposition on TV... :p
