Is Livejournal having another DDoS attack, or has this connection been slow? Is someone digging a hole under the castle? I don't know.
Today I went to the anime club, but the anime I watched weren't too good. There were, as follows:
Click to view
A) Squid Girl - generic moe stuff about an invader from the depths who's super cute and super smart and causes trouble for the humans at a beachside town. The character designs irked me, but I found myself giggling at the "Noh-men Rider" spoof of Kamen Rider. The squid girl had a manner of talking that inserted "ika" (squid) into the ends of her sentences.

B) Only God Knows - boy collects lost spirits by having girls kiss him? And he gets his expertise from dating sims? Again, generic designs. Irritated by the pink hair on Kannon and the way she bounced. Her fanbase in the episdoe was creepy middle-aged men. The membership of the anime club at the meeting was mostly 20-something college boys with an otaku look to them. Not nearly as creepy!

C) Arakawa Under the Bridge - this was a good one. Full of non-sequiturs. The Last Samurai gets the macho men to have their own tea ceremony. Wabi-sabi? He clutches his obi with both hands. Kappa replaces his shell with a tea bowl. The power of muscles? Hiromu Arakawa contributed guest art at the end of the dieting episode. In the episode, there were advertisements for Madoka Magica, a series that
Fubuki Yukimaru seems to be found of.
I might have done this one before, but here it goes.
Give me a character from any fandom I know at least fairly well, and I will tell you:
A) My OTP
B) The runner up
C) The anti-ship
D) My unpopular/fannish opinion on said character
E) One person he/she never fell in love with, and why.
I can do it for the main cast of Hetalia, Repo, some Star Wars characters, and the cast of Dragon Ball (Z) (`~`;;
Don't expect anything serious.

In other words, I had my first stalk of asparagus straight from the plant today. It was so delicious. I think the leaves of spinach and fava beans taste a little bit like peanuts. I don't know how to describe the asparagus, but it was moister than the store-bought kind.
