Wicked, Gregory Maguire--Overall, we didn't like it, and we had expected to.

The Evolution of Jane, Catherine Schine--We liked this one even less.  The main character is obsessed with her long-lost cousin whom she regarded as her best friend years before and then meets on a trip to the Galapagos.

Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood  You know, I never regret reading Atwood, but still I never read her on my own.  A fascinating and well done historical novel with a compelling central character.  (Or at least that’s what I thought.)
