Summary: Hikaru Yaotome met Yabu Kota, a kid who vanished into the night, when he was young. Now, 13 years had passed and he’s living a pretty normal life… But it started becoming messy. Many secrets have been unleashed, and one of those was the main reason why his parents were killed…

Moonlight Secrets
{ Chapter 2 }
Don’t get close to a vampire...
A strange sensation jolted Hikaru awake. He grabbed to the tree nearest to him as he noticed he was in that familiar place again. His heart lodged in his throat as he glanced around and saw that same guy. He looked up, a streak of lightning slided across the night sky.
“W-what do you want this time?” he asked while his voice was shaking.
The guy just smiled and went near to him. “I’m going to see you soon...”, the guy said then went to his side without even in a blink of an eye and whispered to his ears, “...Hikaru,”.
That made him froze in fear. The wind started to give chills to him as the guy disappeared. The guy said he would come to see him. He swallowed hard and wiped his sweat in his face as he calmed his self down. He got up and looked for a glass of water.
It has been almost a month since he had a nightmare. Now, it seems it had started once again...

The brightness of the sun that shone above blinded him. He didn't got enough sleep last night.
“Hika~! Hurry up,” Daiki whined again. He was even acting so cute, stomping his foot to the ground.
Smiling brightly as usual, he hurried to Daiki’s side. “Let’s go,” he said as he looked down again since his eyes were hurting. But he was thrown back as he felt he collided to someone that has a hard body like a wall. He looked up and give an apologetic smile. He was about to say sorry when the guy spoke to him.
“Be careful on your way,” the guy said then smiled and continued, “...Hikaru,”
He was about to ask why he knew his name when Daiki pulled him.
“Don’t space out, Hika! Let’s go, we’re going to be late,” Daiki said.
He felt Daiki’s hands were cold. “Dai-chan, your hands are cold,” he commented.
“Shut up.”
He looked back and surprised to see the guy wasn’t there anymore. He just shrugged his shoulders.

“Okay, class, sit down,” their professor said as he came in their classroom. “I have something to announce,” he continued.
Hikaru looked to Daiki, which was asking him what should it be; he just shrugged his shoulders, telling him he didn’t have a clue.
“We have a new student now,” their teacher announced as he looked outside the door. “Come in,” he commanded.
A tall guy came in, he was really handsome. He had a pale white skin. His eyes were brown and he had a long eyelashes, enough to notice even from afar. His lips were pink and he had cute cheeks. His brown wavy hair made him looked like a real prince in their uniform. Hikaru didn’t know if it was just his imagination but the guy looked at him straight in the eyes.
“Introduce yourself,” their professor said as he smiled.
The new student stood in the center with a serious face and introduced his self. “Yabu Kota. Nice to meet you,” he simply said. Then he made his way near to him and took a seat on his left side.
He kept on looking at him and asked his self why ‘Yabu Kota’ rang a bell. He glanced at his right side, Daiki, and caught him staring at Yabu too.
“Hikaru-kun, please tour him around the campus after the class,” their professor said.
“Hai,” he answered then looked at Yabu with a smile.

“Ne, ne, Dai-chan, I had a weird dream again last night,” he said as he looked at Daiki. Their class didn’t end yet but their teacher left early.
“What was it?” Daiki asked with curiosity.
He fell on a deep thought. “Hmm, it was in the same place. In the cemetery... but it wasn’t the same scene as before. It may be bit the same though...” he sighed.
Daiki pouted. “You said it wasn’t the same and you said again it may be a bit the same. You’re killing me, Hika.”
He smiled widely. “Well, there was that strange guy again. He just said to me he was going to see me soon,” he continued.
Daiki blocked something from his throat. “Y-you mean, he said that to you?”
“Yeah.”
“Be careful, Hika. He might be a-“
“Vampire? C’mmon, you know I don’t believe that, Dai-chan.” He interrupted. “And if they are true, I’ll hate them. All of them. They are all beasts that took a human form.” He added.
“Hika, don’t say that, you never know-“
Ring! Ring! Ring!
The classes has ended. He looked at Yabu and went to him.
“Yabu-kun, let’s tour around the school now,” he suggested.
Yabu just smiled and stood up.
“Dai-chan, you can go home first.” He said as he took a glance to Daiki.
Daiki just nodded. He was in a deep thought. No matter how he looked at it, Yabu Kota seems familiar. His name and his face. He probably heard that somewhere. He tried to remember him and he came up with the answer. “Shit.” He said as he stood up and hurried to go outside, to go to Hikaru and Yabu.

“This is the library,” Hikaru said. “And that is the cafeteria,”he continued as he pointed it. He noticed Yabu was just looking at him. “Yabu-kun? Are you paying attention?” he asked with a smile.
“No,” Yabu said with a serious face.
His smile vanished and he swallowed. For some unknown reasons, he felt his heart was beating like crazy.
“Uhm, where were we...” he said. “Ah, I’ll show you the gymnasium,” he continued.
“Let’s go to the rooftop, Hikaru,” Yabu suggested.
“Why?” he asked with a questioning look.
Yabu just smiled and grabbed him.
“W-wait,” he hesitated but Yabu didn’t budge.

“Can’t you remember me, Hikaru?” Yabu asked as soon as they came in the rooftop.
He knotted his forehead as he looked at Yabu. He was trying to dig his mind to come up with an answer. “Uhm, have we met before, Yabu-kun?” he asked with a shy smile.
Yabu just smiled. “You really have forgotten me, Hikaru? I don’t think so...”
“Uhm...”
“It’s okay,”
He tried to remember it. His face. He knew he met him somewhere. Slowly and slowly, he can see it. “Ah! I remember it now!” he said in a happy voice.
“Really!?” Yabu asked with anticipation.
“Yeah!” he answered with a smile. “You were the one I collided just this morning, right!?” he continued.
Yabu’s smile vanished instantly. “Y-yeah.” He said. “But, you don’t remember anything at all?” he continued.
“Hmm...”
“Think about it.”
“Just tell me about that honestly.” He suggested.
“Okay, I give up,” Yabu said. “We have met before. Thirteen years ago, in that cemetery. You were crying in front of your parents’ grave..” he recited.
“And we played hide and seek during that night.” Hikaru continued.
“Yeah,” Yabu said with a smile.
“And you disappeared.” He stated.
Yabu was back to his serious face again. “I didn’t disappear, Hikaru.”
“Then, how come I wasn’t able to find you?”
“I-i..” Yabu answered. “I went home.” He continued.
He pouted. “Hey, you’re so mean, Yabu! I was looking for you, you know. Then someone came to me and adopted me.” He smiled. “Daiki Arioka. He’s our classmate. You know him?” he asked.
“Of course.” Yabu said with a grim.
“I finally found you two,” Daiki said, still panting and was on his knees. He exhaled. “Why are you both here?”
“No, let me ask you that Dai-chan.” Hikaru said with a smile. “Why are you here?”
Daiki took some steps near them. “I...”
“He came for you, Hikaru.” Yabu stated. “Right, Daiki Arioka...kun?”
Daiki swallowed. “Y-yeah...”
So, you two know each other?” Hikaru asked as he looked at the two with a smile.
“No.” Daiki said.
“Yeah,” Yabu answered. “Don’t deny that, Daiki.” Yabu said to Daiki. “You knew me thirteen years ago too, right... Daiki?” then he smiled.
“Ah! That’s good. This is like a reunion for us, then?” Hikaru asked with a smile. “We should celebrate this some-“
“Let’s go home, Hika.” Daiki said as he grabbed him.
“W-wait, how about Yabu?” he asked as he looked at Yabu.
“It’s fine,” Yabu assured.
He smiled then turn to Daiki as they walked away. “You can’t behave like that to the new student, Dai-chan.” He commented.
Daiki looked at him. His eyes were clouded with fear. “Stay away from him.” He said.
“Ha? W-what are you talking about..”
“Stay away from him, Hika. Stay away from Yabu Kota.”
Don’t get close to a vampire... they are mysterious.

~*I'm sorry if this is a fail. And, I don't think I can update just like before. I'll only update once a week now. All my files are deleted, luckily, my friend read my fics, so she has a personal copy of my drafts and everything. *sigh*
