Caution: Heart at Risk!
{ Chapter 3 }
Chinen didn’t say a thing when he came inside Daiki’s room. He didn’t even bother looking at Daiki. He didn’t know why he acted that way though.
“We have a problem,” Daiki said. They were both standing near the door.”Who’s going to sleep in the floor?”
He knotted a forehead and looked at Daiki. “I’ll sleep on the floor then,” he said.
“Hmm, I thought you would never talk again,” Daiki commented.
He looked at Daiki with a questioning look.
Daiki shrugged his shoulders. “So, what are we going to do now? Play rock-paper-scissors?” then Daiki put his arms on his shoulders.
Advising his heart to calm down itself, he shoved Daiki’s arm which was on his shoulders. “I’m feeling lazy at the moment. I’ll just sleep on the floor.”
“Then what? Go to my bed, sleep with me and molest ma again?”
“Hey! That will never happen!” he exclaimed as he looked away.
“Ah, so you said it really happened before..”
“It was just one time. And… I sleepwalked.” What kind of lame excuse was that? He knotted as he realized what alibi he just said. Yuck.
But Daiki didn’t say anything. Instead, he picked up the blanket and pillow. “Okay, sleep in the bed. I’ll sleep on the sofa.”
“Why?” he asked. “I thought you can’t sleep when you’re not on your bed?”
“If it is, I would still be a virgin right now.” Daiki said as he gave him an evil smile. And wink.
He felt as though there were imaginary animals running on his heart. He touched his chest and said, “Stay still.”
Daiki looked at him with a confused look. He just swallowed. What the heck was that?
“If you want to rest, just take a rest now,” Daiki said as he headed to the door. “I need to go outside..”
“You’ll go to Yama-chan, right?” he asked.
Daiki stopped and turned to look at him. “Why do you ask? I keep myself private.”
He just raised his eyebrow then pouted. “Fine!”
He laid down to the bed and closed his eyes. For some reasons, tears wanted to come out there. Argh! I hate this! What happened to me? What is this? I have Yuto! I don’t like this! I want world peace! Bring me back to Japan!
“Chinen, are you okay?” Daiki asked.
“I’m fine! I just felt lazy to talk. Go away. Your friends must have been waiting for you now.” I know you’re excited to see Yama-chan. Why the sudden change? Daiki was in a bad mood and now he was all good. His heart was confused!
He got up fast and followed Daiki who was now outside the house.
“Daiki!” Daiki turned to him. I love you! Please, don’t leave me here. “My stomach is aching.”
***
“There is a nearby clinic here? Are you sure you don’t want me to bring you there?” Daiki asked with a hint of concern in his voice.
Chinen’s silent prayer came true. Daiki didn’t leave and just stayed to his side. Now, he just kept on pretending his stomach was hurting. And he was really confused of those three words he said to his self. What the heck was that for?
“I’m fine. I’m perfectly doing fine. I think it’s just because of the pineapple juice I drank.” He said as he was laying down in the bed. He really acted as though he had gone weak. Tch. I never thought I have this hidden talent. “I’ve already taken a medicine.”
“Why did you drink pineapple juice even though you have not eaten yet?”
“Nothing. I just feel like it.”
The fingers of Daiki that was touching his hair went to his cheeks and pinched it lightly. “I hoped you learned your lesson well.”
“Ouch. Why did you have to pinch it?”
“Nothing. I just feel like it.”
He just laughed. Daiki was beside him on the bed, lovingly stroking his hair while he was comfortably leaning on his broad chest. He felt even better.
“Won’t your friends look for you?” he asked.
“No.”
“I like your friends. They’re kind. And I like Takaki.”
“What? You like him?” Daiki asked as he stayed away.
“No, I mean, I like him as a friend.” He explained. He didn’t know if it was just his imagination or not but after he said that, Daiki moved closer again.
He heard Daiki sigh. “I’m confident enough..”
He was confused. “What? I can’t understand you..”
“I’m confident enough that I’m handsome enough for your eyes.”
“W-what?”
“I always catch you looking at me, Chii. Don’t think I never notice.”
Oh, my God! He moved away but Daiki stopped him.
“Where are you going? You’re not feeling well, right?” Daiki asked.
“I-I’m already fine,”
Daiki held him closer. “You really don’t like confrontations, do you? I’ll let you pass now. But, be ready. Next time, I won’t let it pass.”
“W-what are you talking about?”
“Nothing.” Daiki help him closer to his chest. “Let’s just stay this way for a while, shall we? I’m already sleepy too.”
So, there. They stayed that way for a while. They were both feeling sleepy and Daiki was on his side. And he thought there was nothing else he could ever ask for.
***
It was already dark when he woke up. Daiki wasn’t on his side anymore. Did he left me while I fell asleep? He muttered.
He went outside the room and surprised to see that Daiki was on the kitchen, cooking.
He yawned.
“How dare you yawn on me when you see my face.” Daiki snapped.
What? He’s having mood swings again.
“Because your face looks boring.” He snapped.
“Takaki called.” Daiki said as he was chopping the meat with his full force. The sound could even be heard in the entire house.
“Then?” he asked.
“He reminded about his date with you.” Daiki chopped the meat with full force again this time.
“DATE?!” he asked.
“Don’t get too excited!” Daiki glared. “You agreed for a date with him?”
“I didn’t! I can’t remember he asked me for a date and I can’t remember that I said yes,” he said while tilting his head.
“Because all you think about is Yuto!” Daiki snapped. “Now, go to your date. I can’t concentrate cooking.”
He glared at Daiki. “I want a penguin for a main dish later.”
Daiki raised his eyebrow. “We don’t have penguin meat, Chii-sama.”
“Cook yourself.” He said as he turned around and went back to the room.
***
“What date are you talking about, Takaki?” he asked the other guy as they met in a near resto.
Takaki just smiled. “Date.”
“I can’t remember you asked me for a date! And, we both know we don’t like each other.” He said as he started eating.
“Whoever said I don’t like you, Chii?” Takaki asked with amusement in his eyes.
He tried to swallow his food but it just stayed in his mouth. Until he choked.
“O-Oi, are you fine?” Takaki asked instantly.
“Y-Yeah.” He said as he tried to smile.
“Well, this is just a friendly date.” Takaki said. “And I like you as a friend,” he continued as he laughed.
He whacked Takaki as hard as he can. “Ouch! What was the for?” Takaki asked.
“For making me choke over my food!” he said as he laughed.
They were having fun until they heard one voice.
“So, you guys were really having fun, huh,”
Chinen looked around. He knew whose voice was that. It was Daiki’s.
Takaki beamed and smiled. “Yes, I guess Chii and I are really very alike,”
What the hell Takaki was talking about? He looked at him and mouthed, “Ha?”. But Takaki just smiled.
He looked at Daiki. “Why are you here?” he asked.
“Why? Is there a rule that I can’t go to places where you are having your date with Takaki?” Daiki asked, putting a sarcastic on his voice. “If I knew, I wouldn’t go here.”
Then, Daiki went away. He was shocked when he saw he was with Keito and Hikaru.
He turned to Takaki. “What’s with him? He was having his mood swings again. We were fine hours ago.”
Takaki just smiled and shrugged his shoulders.
“How did he knew we were here, anyway?” he asked Takaki again as he eat.
“I told Keito.” Takaki simple answered.
He just continued eating while his mind was still on Daiki. Why the hell I kept on thinking about him? He sighed.
He failed to notice that Takaki was hiding a smile.
~*Whew! I haven't decided when will this end. HAHA. So, maybe I'll reveal that in the next chapter. I'll think of a good plot for the next chapter too. :D *whacks myself*
