Retribution?
I always love the surveys you get at the end of something (college courses, shopping trips, jobs..) that allow you to pretty much lay it out on the table. So, I just did. I wouldn't exactly call it scathing - I just answered honestly. Muah hah hah. I also clicked 'yes' to the 'may we contact you about this survey?' question. Boy, I've got lots to say to them. Somebody must have skimmed over the 'no production work' part of my profile and padded the job description.
So, that is that. The job search wears on. I found another company that I would love to work for, but they're yet another company that won't take me seriously because all i've been doing is production work. That's all I'm getting anymore. "You're just a production artist, we need designers.." Grr.
So, if I don't get another job soon, and have some time off, I'm going to try to do some freelance just so I have something to show for myself. This production thing, while it's good for improving technical skill, is killing my chances for a design gig. Argh argh argh.
