Coffee and Engagements
So, tonight Etta came in to the shop and told me she was engaged. She told me all about it and I passed on my congrats to Archie and her. They are adorable and tonight they were just glowing. They are going to be a fabulous couple and they will have a great life together. They are both separately amazing people who I look up to. Etta, who I have known from the beginning, with her sweet ways is an inspiration to my life. Archie, my boss and friend who I respect so much. They are just great together. I'm just so excited for their life together.
I talked to Caitlyn from back home tonight. I am so encouraged when I talk to her, she makes me feel like I am not so much out of the loop with my friends back home. Although, I have seen a direct parallel from the show Friends and my friends from back home. There is not so much a coffee house is there is an apartment. But when they do go out, generally it is to one place. Dom's. But they are always together and my suspicion is they always will be. However, we have lovingly referred to our group as "the cult" which contains the small group of people that are always together and always hanging out. I am pretty sure I am starting to feel better about leaving the group behind and moving on with my life. I am glad Caitlyn is too. I haven't realized how much I actually miss her until talking to her tonight.
I am excited for this next week. Not only is it the one year marker of when Chris and I started dating! But also it's Thanksgiving Break and I will get to decorate our room for Christmas, then I will get to go home and see Caitlyn and my parents and then there is all the food I will get to eat! Yum! Next week will be a refreshing.
