back in action
hi y'all :)
it has been for-ev-er since i've written anything on here. i was in a spring break daze (not that i went anywhere super cool or anything, but it was a much-needed break) and this week has been crazy busy trying to get back into the swing of things. my last quarter of college... craziness!
so one thing that made me ridiculously happy today is that photobucket lifted their bandwidth limit thing on my account and now my images are all back! some of you PMed me a while ago asking where my icons from the commentary went, and now they're back, so click on the little linkie if you want them. :) you can find the actual commentary here, as well.
lately lots of pictures and crazy rumors and such have been posted all over the place about the filming of new moon up in vancouver. honestly, i eat that shit up. i love every single tiny detail about what's going on with that movie, and i'll take anything i can get. in particular, what did you guys think about the casting of the wolfpack? i actually think they're pretty perfect, aside from the difference in the descrip of quil from the book and the way that tyson looks in real life. however, i think he's adorable and i'm super excited for him. since all their names were floating around somewhat unattached to their characters, i made a little cheatsheet for me and some of my friends (*waves at those of you who are MoW*) and i figured i'd post it on here in case anyone wanted it.
speaking of our wolfy friends, i have to catch up on about a million fanfic rec's for you guys (nice little segue there, no?). that has to do with the wolves because my dear friend and beta AHelm has recently begun writing a fic called No Outlet, which is a Leah-centric story that begins just a few months after Breaking Dawn ended. She is three chapters in, and it is an absolutely amazing story, all about Leah's attempts at moving on with her life as she watches Sam and Emily move on with theirs. Jake and Seth play amazing big-brother-best-friend roles to her, and with AHelm's wonderful writing, you seriously just feel for poor Leah. please check it out and review!
next up is Jackson's lova Little Miss Whitlock and her story The Right Side of Wrong. it is a hilaaarious and well-written story in which Emmett convinces his brother Edward to do something stupid, which causes Bella to absolutely freak out and plot various forms of revenge with Alice and Rose. i actually did the story's manip for her, and i'll post it under le cut.
ohh, pretty hot, no? makes you wanna go read her fic, doesnt it? ;) good, DO IT! and review while you're at it. please and thank you.
another fic that y'all NEED to check out is Bad Boys & Book Nerds by my lovely little MPants. WARNING: this story contains one of the hottest versions of Edward that you will e-v-e-r encounter... Geekward. *faints at the memory* she recently finished this story, which depicts Bella as a librarian at U-Dub and Edward as her friend Jasper's roommate. sexy nerdiness ensues, and i can guarantee you will grin like a fool through the entire thing as you imagine our little Bella falling for geekalicious Edward, complete with sex hair and glasses and superman references that are Made of Win. (check out her profile for a picture of Geekward at his finest.) read it and leave the amazing reviews that it deserves!
last but certainly not least is From Peanuts to Proposal by suspenders! such a great AU one-shot that is written in EPOV during the night that Edward proposes to Bella. it's a hilarious little walk down memory lane (perhaps "stumble" should replace the word "walk" in this case) and it's also an entry into the Make It Count contest on ffn.net. AHelm and the wonderful sorceresscirce also have a few one-shots in that contest, so GO READ AND REVIEW AND THEN VOTE! (to vote, just click on the contest's link above.)
