before finally realizing in the end
that you were meant to be with each other
and you'll get married
and have lots of kids
and live happily ever after"
and i laughed at first when she told me that
but only because
i can't allow myself to get my hopes up
on something as silly as
all the stupid dreams i keep having about you
that always leave me questioning
