History
Uruguay was the first host of the World Cup, in 1930! Before, they've won the gold medal on the Olympic games of 1924 and 1928, and there's when then got their nickname, "La Celeste Olímpica". Uruguay is also the smallest nation to ever win a World Cup, having won two titles... One of them was against Brazil in 1950 World Cup (and we were hosting OTL).
