Dude, get this great detail on Luke's wedding. I talked to Katie Mac yesterday, and she was telling me about what songs I'd be playing in the wedding. The last song was Luke's only request for the entire wedding: "The Last Day of My Life" by Bright Eyes. Bright Eyes at a wedding, man. Yoo buhlee dat? The 23rd is the bachelor party too apparently. Glad you'll be in town for that. Luke told me to bring dollar bills.
Book recommendation: The Art of War by Sun Tzu. It's kind of a book anyway. You can probably find it online for free, although a book is probably more readable than a text file.

How about King Leopold's Ghost by Adam Hochschild? It's about the human rights atrocities in the Congo by Belgium's King Leopold. It's in the form of a narrative though so you won't feel like you're doing homework.
Also, Death Dealer: Memoirs of the SS Kommandant at Auschwitz by Rudolf Hoess is fascinating. It's Hoess's memoirs that he wrote in prison before being executed for his role in the Holocaust. A bit depressing at times, but amazing to read how someone could justify their behavior at that level.
