summer plans
everybody keeps asking, so here are my summer plans:
ill be in quontico VA from memorial day until june 18th or so doing Marine Corps type training at "The basic school." its like a 3 week intro to what you will actually do at the basic school when commissioned as a marine. after that, ill be in camp lejune, NC for a week attached to a USMC aviation squadron of some sort. im really looking forward to this, because i used to live there and havnt been back since i was ten. after that, ill be back in pensacola starting on the 23rd for luke's wedding (the 25th). ill be in pensacola until july 20th. then back to annapolis for plebe detail until school starts. so, about a month of break right in the middle of summer, which i cant complain about.
by the way, if anybody has any reading suggestions for this summer, like "books everybody has to read at least once" type of books, im all ears. also, if there are any movies i need to see.
as far as music goes, thanks goes to dave for the free-tunes. on that note, if you have itunes, and a pulse, download "trapeze swinger" by Iron & Wine immediately. unfortunately, i think it might be an itunes only track, but fortunately it is over 9 minutes long and worth all 99 pennies.
