One of the people who critiqued REINS OF TIME passed away suddenly in January. Carol Ding was only 61, and dropped of a brain aneurysm. She was a great fan of science fiction, and voted in the Hugos every year. She was a very creative person herself, both in writing, gardening, sewing, and photography.
