I have the Ring and the Eye in my possession. Unless someone provides me with a good reason not to, in a fortnight I will do as follows:

The Items will be melted down.

The ensuing block of gold will be dissolved in Aqua Regia.

The ensuing mixture will be dropped from a plane into the Pacific ocean.

By "the Items" you mean "those Items", right? Other than the fact that I don't believe you'll be able to do it, I think it would be for the best if the Items could be just done away with...except the Puzzle.

I've only got my hands on those Items, after all, so yes.

Why does everyone think that they can't be done away with? they're gold. Metal. Metal melts at high temperatures.

You can certainly try, but I don't think it can be done. After all, they're far more than gold. The magic they contain probably does quite a bit to protect the Items themselves.

Hmph. Gold and ashes, I've been made to understand. Still doesn't sound fire proof.

Anyway, I'll try and see what happens.
