(no subject)
Hey everybody hows it going? Hope everybodys new years went well. Mine did. A bunch of us went up to ansley's lakehouse and had a great time, told some freaky ghost stories, shot a few fireworks even played this stupid celebrity game with the graffeos, grace, and kim. Then when the girls and guys were split up for the night, we played a never ending poker game. There were 7 of us, umm lets see: me, austin greenwalt, eric sitzler, corey collier, tucker martiniere, wes hagler, and alan walker. We definitely played with too many chips cause it took forevor. Wes and Greenwalt would not go out they were down to nothign but just hung around and it was pissing me and Eric off, Wes ended up winning. But it was just a great time looking back on it I've never played poker for 6 hours and i thought i was going to kill myself. I got knocked out a little after seven, got dressed for the next morning and fell asleep, Grace woke me up at 8 cause we both had to go back early I really thought about hitting her. Ha, I'm just playing but yeah we ended up riding back, neither of us with directions we only doubted where we were once and didnt have to turn around
But yeah the whole time on the ride back we talked about God and it was great. The girls had been talking about God the whole night before so we just talked about what they talked about, it was really cool cause i saw how similar our beliefs are, we agreed on most everything, she helped me see some things more clearly and hopefully I might've helped her out a little bit. But yeah i would've definitely slept on the way home if it was anyone else, but Grace is fun to talk to.
I spent that day at my grandmother's house then didnt do much of anything today. Then a bunch of us went to Sneaky Pete's for dinner then went back to Kim's house. And honestly we all talked for 3 hours about different stuff, it was weird like the guys would ask the girls personal questions then they'd ask us and it got into serious subjects and it was real cool. I learned just how conservative the friends i hang out with are and i think its awesome that God has put friends in my life that support me more than tempt me. And i think its awesome that striving to be a better person wins more favor with my group of friends than doing something against the will of God. I can honestly say I don't know where i woulc be without my friends.
