Tuesday!

It's a lovely sunny day today - forecast: 14C/57F cloudy, so that's not right. Currently in my back garden it's 17C/62F and so warm we've opened the door to the garden which is fabulous for March.

Yesterday was a fairly busy day - I spent the morning online with my course about John Atkinson Grimshaw which went further into his landscape painting and how his style changed over the course of his career. It was very interesting to see the influence of other movements such as impressionism was an influence later. It's a shame he died at 57 as he was starting to experiment with lots of different techniques.

After that I cleaned all the windows in the house which was good as they were filthy! LOL! That was about it for Monday apart from finishing The Witcher which has nicely set itself up for another series at some point.

Today I've been to Pilates this morning - a stretchy and challenging class - I got very hot. I rushed back home to get changed afterwards as I met lilachigh at a local garden centre and where we did some shopping, browsed some expensive things we didn't buy and had lunch at the posh Italian restaurant within the grounds of the garden centre. The restaurant is run by an Italian family and the restaurant is quite old fashioned - I always think it's like an Italian restaurant back in the 1980's. Chianti bottles are covered in reeds, white table cloths, waiters who call you Señora and main courses where you pay extra for side orders. The food is always very delicious though, and we had a very enjoyable lunch - it's a shame we both drive there as we never have any wine.

Normally tonight would be my bellydance class, but my teacher is not feeling very well, so unusually she's cancelled the lesson. Mr Cee and I went for a walk this afternoon as it was so nice and I wanted to get rid of some of the calories from lunch (I'm sure I've walked off about one sautéd potato *g*). So we have nothing else planned for today which is a nice change.  I did pick two lemons from the lemon trees in the garden which is rather satisfying.

I have questions:
14. While walking/running/biking/other cardio: music or podcasts or silence?
My dance and Tai Chi classes both have music. In the Tai Chi classes we have a specific piece of music we use for the fan dance, so that's fun. The rest of the time there's music that we warm up to which has a beat or lovely relaxing Chinese music to be calm with.  Bellydance class obviously has a lot of music as we move to the beats. Walking I don't play music though.

15. Do you have a Pavlovian response to anything?
The smell of bread baking always makes me feel hungry.  I'm hopeless if I'm watching a show with cooking on it like Great British Bake Off or The Great British Menu. I always feel like eating LOL!
