A creative Monday

Yesterday started later than usual as we both slept in until well after 8am which is very unlike us! However, the morning was productive - Mr Cee used the leaf blower/vacuum to collect up all the leaves in the garden. While he was doing that I cut some glass for a couple of things a friend wants me to make. Once I'd done that I helped Mr Cee and cut back some of the dead plants and cleared out the hanging baskets. The afternoon was spent watching Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings as it is now on Disney+ and we'd missed it at the cinema (it was on so briefly!). It was good! That was about it.

Today's forecast: 12C/54F Cloudy
Pretty much cloudy all day but surprisingly warm as there was no wind.

I spent most of the day in the glass studio finishing off the things I cut out the day before.  My friend wanted three more glass rainbox hearts (she bought one from me last year) and I also wanted to make a couple of Christmas tree decorations to add to my Etsy store. All that took some time, but it was a good to get it done and it was so mild that although I started the day with the heating on in the studio, I ended up turning it off after an hour as I was too hot!

After he'd finished work Mr Cee spent some time sorting out the leads from the various things that connect to a TV these days and tidying them up. We had to get longer leads for this TV as (of course) the way the HDMI cables plug in is in a different place from the previous TV and the others were too short.  The TV is on the wall and this one is much thinner than the previous one, so it all looks very neat now.

This evening we are going out for a Screen Unseen presentation at our local cinema. They are not insisting on masks these day and looking at the cinema booking system it seems like the cinema will be full. We are taking masks. I know they won't fully protect us, but maybe they will help prevent us from some of the viruses that will be there. It is a relatively new building so I expect the air con should be good.

We don't know what the film is going to be - the clues are cryptic, but the general opinion is that it might be King Richard with Will Smith. We shall see!  In the meantime I have questions:

14. Do you think you look older or younger than your real age?
I think I look my age, but frequently people think I'm younger than I am. Most recently when we were still doing Tai Chi in the park our teacher seemed astounded that we are in our 60s and thought we were 50 which was very flattering.

15. Where have you lived throughout your life?
I have in the suburbs of London for all my life - currently I'm right on the outskirts of the South East edges (I look further South and and I see farms and fields, I look North and I see the City of London in the distance *g*).
