This week is already flying past. Yesterday I walked up to my local town in the morning to get my hair cut. It's easier to walk there as it's only about 3 miles and there's nowhere to park as they are doing some long term roadworks right near the salon. It's quiet on a Monday so we could have a nice chat. Afterwards I did a bit of shopping and Mr Cee picked me up and we had a late lunch. I spent the afternoon sorting out stuff and Mr Cee went to the dentist - he still has no fillings and all 32 adult teeth - he's so lucky. Then at 4pm we went to our local town to see the latest Bond film "No Time to Die". Thoughts with no spoilers under the cut.
It was long, but didn't seem it (2 hours 45 minutes) and the plot follows on from the previous film "Spectre", so I'm really glad we watched that before we went.
It had the usual tremendous stunts, car chases and humour which was fun. We both saw the plot twist at the end coming a mile away, but that's Bond - it's to a certain extent predictable and that's fine. It had good characters and some nice female roles who could kick ass LOL! Also there was one new character who was absolutely adorable.
We enjoyed it, but we were quite glad we went to a relatively early showing as after you've added adverts and trailers we were sitting down for about three and a quarter hours. We bought the premium seats, which were OK, but I always still come out with a crick in my neck.
Go and see it, but I'd only recommend it as long as you remind yourself of the previous plot points....
Today it's warmer than yesterday (19C/68F) but rainy and very windy. Lots of leaves are falling today and it feels very Autumnal. This morning I've been to Pilates - OMG - it was a tough session!! We were doing a lot of long stretches with balance and slow moves which are always really hard (and I still hate planks!). We all got very hot indeed but it was good to stretch after sitting so much yesterday at the hairdressers and the cinema.
I was tired when I got home and it was a nice surprise that Mr Cee had cooked lunch - a veggie lasagne from scratch - yum! He was having computer issues so instead of watching and waiting for reboots he decided to do some cooking while that was happening. I'm so pleased he did as all I wanted to do was sit down and drink water LOL!
I'm not sure what I'm going to do this afternoon - I have a couple of things I could get on with in the glass studio, so I might go and do that. This evening there is my bellydance class (which is why we eat a larger lunch on Tuesdays). In the meantime I have questions:
18. What’s something about adult life you were never warned of or prepared for?
All of it? LOL! I don't think anything really prepares you for what you have to deal with as an adult. Owning my own place, having a family (wow - so many surprises there LOL!), working for a living so you can keep the house.... The list is endless and I'm glad I have a partner in Mr Cee to help me with some of the things I have found challenging to deal with over the years.
19. If you won the lottery, do you think any of your family members would ask you to give them some of your money?
I have a very small family - I don't think I'd tell many of them that I had won the lottery! Certainly if it was a significant amount I would definitely share some of it with our boys, but there's no-one else that I'd tell ;)
