A busy Saturday so far.....

The view from my house of the garden first thing this morning.... with added kitties (that's Lady on the deck, Zero walking down the garden and Tippi in the distance).

Under the cut for more garden photos...
All photos get bigger with a click.

This little peach patio rose has the most amazing scent and flowers year after year. It's got to be around 12 years old now and never fails to bloom and look gorgeous. I love how the flowers look like tissue paper when they are fully out and they have the most gorgeous scent.

These two roses are from the same climbing rose which has red buds and then the flowers slowly turn from yellow to a kind of raspberry colour as they mature.

Another rose I planted in a pot last year. I think it's a lighter peach colour to the other one.

The new lemon tree has flower buds on it now which is pleasing. The lemons are getting bigger too.

The lemon trees that were so damaged from the snow have really bounced back and have lots of leaves!

Sadly, I don't think the orange tree has survived. It's clinging on, and I keep feeding it with liquid feed, but it's struggling, so I may have lost it.

In the meantime the pink peonies have all flowered

The bed at the end of the garden is still covered in bees from the hardy geraniums. The pink invasive one is climbing up the lilac tree again so I've had to give it a trim as it's a bit of a thug even though it's pretty.

The fig tree is bigger than last year so I'm hopeful I might actually get figs big enough to eat this year.

An finally my dwarf raspberries (they only grow up to 1m/3 feet in height) look like they might be going to produce a nice crop of fresh raspberies (I have three pots full of them).

The garden rose arch - with the China rose behind it which pretty much flowers all year round (and is thornless which is good). I have a honeysuckle and a passion flower growing up from the bottom which should give flowers next year once they've got a bit bigger and take over from the roses at the side when they've finished flowering.

We went out for brunch this morning and then went to visit our favourite antique shop in a village about a half hour's drive away.  Yes - I ended up buying something as last time we went this was twice the price, and I thought it was too expensive. Clearly no-one apart from us knows that this little Chinese figure is demonstrating 'single whip' stance in Tai Chi *g*

We've been gardening the rest of the afternoon and it's got very humid - I imagine we might have a storm later.

Today's question: 26. What is your favorite tea brand?
I'm not a huge fan of tea, and I don't have a favourite brand as such. I do like a certain varieties of tea which is either Chinese Oolong or Ceylon Orange Pekoe (which is modern day Sri Lanka).  I tend to buy both those as loose tea in Wittards.
