Bank Holiday Monday
It's been a glorious day with temperatures up to 25C/77F which is very welcome even if I had to go out first thing this morning and water all the plants in the garden.
Today we went over the the South West London suburbs to spend the day with GF(P)'s Mum, GF(P) and Youngest Cee. It actually took just under an hour to drive there which was good and we had a very delicious lunch and a nice catch up. We all decided it's good that we can now socialise a bit more. Also home made Pavlova is delicious ;)
Oddly the SatNav took us a very weird route on the way there, and on the way back a very direct route - both taking around the same time, so I suppose it's just what seemed a fraction shorter each time! LOL! SatNavs are very odd things sometimes.
Now we are back home and the cats have not missed us at all - and I'm all confused because it's Monday but it feels like Sunday. Mr Cee is back to work tomorrow and I have another Etsy order to get on with, so I'll have to do that before the studio gets too hot in the morning as tomorrow it's supposed to be even hotter.
I have a question for today: 31. What kind of cake did you have for your last birthday?
I didn't have any cake - I went out for lunch with Mr Cee and we were in full lock down the following day, so it was a bit of unusual birthday all told. Actually - thinking about it - I don't usually have cake on my birthday anyway ......
